Sukin face essentials

I thought it would be appropriate for my first entry to be about the very fundamentals for a perfect canvas.

My everyday skin care routine consists of sukin- my all time favourite!

I’ve probably tried every single face care product on the market… Ok, that was a bit of an exaggeration but I have tried a lot. Due to my breakouts and sensitive skin my high maintenance face didn’t require much cost and I landed in the arms of Sukin.

Skincare that doesn’t cost the earth

Indeed, Sukin products only range from $9.99 to roughly $29.99 (which is mainly in the ageless and body range anyway). Not only affordable but also does the magic.

This stuff actually works. It leaves my skin smooth, fresh and flawless. Who needs a weekly facial at the salon hey? It’s not a luxury product but it will leave your face feeling like one.

It was like Christmas when my mother came home with the Sukin show bag for me earlier this year. And I’ve come to a point where I’m literally so obsessed with this brand, I’ve tried so many products. And let me tell you, nothing, i mean nothing has disappointed me!

The Micellar Cleansing water is something to try! I use it to remove my makeup avoiding my eye area as I use an oil-based makeup remover because I do wear waterproof liners. The cleansing water leaves my face smooth, comfortable, fresh, calm and hydrated. The list can go on but I’m sure you get the point. It also has a slight vanilla scent which I found interesting. For me, I wear a full face of makeup on a daily basis so it would be important for me to cleanse after using the micellar miracle water.

At the moment, I’m using the sensitive cleansing lotion only because I’m living in dry and cold weather conditions. Although, the product does come in the standard Sukin packaging and I would recommend either. With the facial scrub, I only use once a week (avoiding aggravating my skin). It’s another winner! The micro bamboo extracts massaged on your face then cleansed with luke warm water makes you feel like you’re in first class service, in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels. There’s no excuse to avoid the facial scrub!

I don’t use the hydrating mist that often, only when I’m at work and my face feels extremely dehydrated. I spray a few pumps. It leaves my full face of makeup feeling very fresh and hydrated. It also gives that summer glow (not the oily look) to my face.

So, these are my basic everyday face care products that I would highly recommend to everyone and it won’t even break your bank.

Love Amna xx
