Hi beauty lovers,
This post is purely about what drugstore products I use to create a perfect contour.
If you work full-time or you’re just running to the shops to do some errands. You don’t need to pick up your super expensive palette. Let’s contour on a budget!
Overtime I’ve found extremely worthy conturing products that are worth the buy. The best part is they’re ALL UNDER $20 AUD.
Obviously I’ll moisturise and prime as per normal. I usually also use an orange concealer under my eyes as I have dark circles.
Then, applying my foundation on with a beauty blender. I didn’t include my concealer in this post as it won’t really fit in. Although, I do use the Nars creamy concealer to contour when I’m going out to dinner or something.
I’ll highlight my face with the NYX foundation sick (MSF03). You can grab this for $16.95 at Priceline. I use this to highlight my face only because it’s not a super thick foundation stick. It comes on pretty thin which is then so easy to blend into my foundation.
I then contour my face with the Maybelline fit me concealer in Cafe 30. This is $14.95 at Priceline. Although, Maybelline is always on sale. Whether it’s a ‘3 for 2’ or ‘half price.’ You’re bound to save some pennies. The colour is perfect for my skin tone. It doesn’t leave it as a “too dramatic” contouring look. It’s also easy to blend because it’s a very watery concealer.
I set my highlight with the RCMA No-colour powder. I purchased this on the site called BeautyLish. The product is $12 USD although it works out to just a little more is you’re converting to AUD. Don’t quote me on this, the currency exchange always changes. I must say this is one of the best powders I’ve ever used. I’ve purchased one too many powders to set my concealer and it gives me the ugly, no-makeup look. I don’t know why and i’m still trying to figure it out.
Powder contour with Savvy contour and highlight. This compact powder is only $9.99 from Priceline. Out of all the drugstore contour/highlighting products I find Savvy to have the best products. This little compact is so perfect to have in your makeup bag. It doesn’t give an off orange look – definitely that tan tone.
Here are some pictures with and without flash.

I hope everyone enjoyed my contouring on a budget post.
Let me know what your budgeting contouring products are? And do they do the job?
Happy contouring.
