NYX Contour Intuitive palette: Review

Hello beautiful beauty bloggers,

I purchased the NYX Contour Intuitive palette during the Black Friday sale last week.

But I actually made the wrong purchase. I was holding two different palettes in my hands and I told myself I’m going to definitely buy the palette with the warm tones because the colours speak to me.

But I somehow purchased the jewel queen palette. The jewel queen palette comes with a mix of light/dark blues along with a purple and a few lighter shades. It’s not something I would use everyday so I was very disappointed when I came home to the wrong palette.

I mean how on earth did that even happen? I literally told myself to buy the other palette.

Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?

Nonetheless, I searched endlessly for the warm zone palette and finally got my hands on them.

YASSSSS!!!

This palette is everything I wished for and more.

Initially when I swatched the colours in store it reminded me so much of the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette. It’s a cheaper duplicate basically.

The warm zone palette is a peachy, neutral and bronzed palette. It comes with two highlighters, a blush and six eye shadows. What more could you ask for?

The highlighters aren’t too pigmented though it’s definitely buildable. It’ll give a very natural shimmer to the highlighted areas.

The eye shadows have a perfect amount of block and crease colours. All the eye shadows are pigmented except the lighter colours (light brown and the gold). There’s four block colours (white, light brown, dark brown and maroon) along with two glittered (orange and gold).

Now, I don’t usually wear blush but the blush in this palette is just right. It’s a light rosé pink, which looks al-natural.

Overall, the palette is creamy, buildable and pigmented. The palette gives a natural glow with warm and neutral tones. It’s one of my favourites!

Have you tried this palette? What do you think? Leave your comments below!
